Does anyone remember WO1 Stephen Chasin or WO1 Jack Russell or crew of the 116th AHC Hornets, Second Flight Platoon WASPS? If so do you remember their call sign? Any information would be greatly appreciated. The other crew memebers were SP5 Herman Serna and CPL James Portwood, Jr.

I lost my Dad; Richard A. Dubey on November 11th 2009. He was a crew chief with the 269th CAB in Cu Chi from 1967 to 1968. Complications from the treatment of cancer from exposure to Agent Orange is what got him. He was a good man and the reason I am a firearms enthusiast to this day. The last thing we did together was spend a day at the range. I just wanted you to know. Richard A. Dubey Jr.

Hi, my name is Freddie Serna. My brother was SP5 Herman Serna. He was crew chief for WO1 Spephen Chasin (Pilot) of the 116th AHC Hornets. They were part of the Second Flight Platoon 'WASPS'. There aircraft went down on 14 May 1970 in Cambodia. The other crew members were Cpl James Portland Jr.(Gunner) and WO1 Jack Russel Smith (Copilot). I'm hoping someone might remember the call sign used by WO1 Stephen Chasin and crew of aircraft 68-16205. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am with AL post 201 Legion, SAL, and ALR. One of our past Commanders and strong advocates for VETS to the VA, Jack P. Harrison, was Army Medivac in Viet Nam. He was just awarded Legionnaire of the year at the state convention. Instrumental in getting our displays of the Huey, 40mm turret gun and the T-33 not sure about the Tank but I wouldn't doubt it. To make this shorter what I am trying to do is get a hold of the right people so when he does pass, which can be any day now. They took him off the respirator 5 july 2010. I/we believe that for all is was has done and the legacy he will leave all of us with, including the men and women still coming home. I am asking for a medivac fly over or even escort. I have already contacted Congressman Tom Price who will help but there may be too much red tape. If there is anything you can do or anyone you can put me in touch with please do. My phone number is 678.668.9859
